Galena, the place of quaint shops and haunted houses

Galena a quaint little town with with beautiful buildings and scenery. Now Galena may seem like  a town you might see on a picture postcard with all the cute little shops and cafes, but there is one thing you don't know about this place that it is haunted. You can choose to believe it or not ... the choice is yours. I don't believe in ghosts, to be honest. But the question is, do you?

There was this ghost trip in Galena me and my parents took but unfortunately I didn't take any pictures.

This is the place you got your tickets for the ghost tour. The owners also take old fashioned pictures you see in the window .

I was lucky I got to take a picture of this house because it was a part of the tour and it was too dark to take pictures of anything and apparently this house is haunted, at least it's what the tour guide told us. I took this picture before the ghost tour.

This tree was near the stairs you are going to see next. The tree looks creepy, doesn't it?

In this picture, it is hard to believe that this place is haunted ... isn't it?
Bench street, Galena's most haunted area.
People say that angels ward off evil, but I don't think that anyone would want to keep this in their house.

Horse chariot!

Creepy clock, I hope Cinderella gets home in time.

Main Street, Galena ... the quaint, haunted little town.

An old fashioned ice-cream parlor
in Galena. Don't worry this place is not haunted. At least I don't think it is.

Now I know why people have fear of clowns, I mean look at that thing!

Old fashioned cash register.

Abandon hope all yea who enter here. Seriously that clock tower looks haunted. Maybe it is ... who knows.

Galena during the night time, doesn't look that haunted does it?

HAPPY 4TH

It was a dark and not a stormy night. It was actually perfect weather for blowing up fireworks, and one little girl got all the footage of it. Now you may ask why on earth would someone blow up fireworks at night -- wouldn't that cause problems making people shout and complain, which would result in keeping me up all night?

Well my dear viewers let me stop your confusion right there, because it was the Fourth of July! Woo Hoo! Which reminds me HAPPY BELATED FOURTH!!!!! Hope you like the pictures. There is also a video at the end. Enjoy.

Fireworks on the Fourth of July, 2013

It was a warm, and dark night. A summer breeze blowing across my face. Me and my parents were going to see the Fourth of July fireworks. We were sitting on a very itchy and grassy area while I took pictures  we envied the people sitting on blankets and chairs. Next time I have to remind Daddy to bring our camping chairs to watch the fireworks.

Buddy ... the Incorrigible Cat

This is Buddy. He is my neighbor's cat.

He loves to chase squirrels and birds. He goes berserk when he sees cardinals. And the next thing you know, it is either me or Julie, his owner, getting poked by thorns trying to get him out of bushes.

Sometimes he even climbs trees, and Julie gets really mad at him and gives him a whack.

Buddy ready to pounce on a bird. Look at that intensity ... will he win, or the bird?

What just happened??? I missed the bird?

Sad Buddy ... I can't believe I missed that bird!

Let me sharpen my claws ... I WILL get that bird!

No, I think I will just get those shoes instead!

Just a minute, Buddy, those are MY shoes! Gerroff them!

Let it snow ... let it snow ... let it snow ...

It was a white day outside ... and I mean it literally. Snow had been falling continuously for the last two days. I thought I would get creative and take pictures. It was freezing outside and the snow was up to my knees. My feet were freezing and so was the camera. If it was alive, it would have been shivering.

A squirrel was looking for peanuts, which would be covered by snow by now

It's a miracle! He found one!

Creepy shadows ... they look like they are about to grab you ...

Sparrows ... even in this weather

I wonder whether it is their nest

Have a holly jolly Christmas ...

Rudolph? Is that you?

Where is Snow White? And the huntsman?
